NRCA Field Leadership Training, Level 1 (At IRE)

Field Leadership Training focuses on communication and leadership skills. The roofing industry is filled with foremen and superintendents who are incredibly adept at installing roof systems and who were promoted because of their reliability and expertise; however, they often do not possess leadership and communication skills needed to effectively lead crews. This program introduces the concept that leadership and communication are necessary to be truly successful and then provides tools for field leaders to use.

After attending this course, participants will be able to:

• Recognize and improve leadership and crew communication styles
• Enhance team productivity
• Implement conflict resolution tools to manage and prevent workplace conflicts
